The agricultural business, Poggio Sasseta welcomes guests in a comfortable environment of agritourism near Montiano, a little village located in the commune of Magliano in Tuscany (GR) and surrounded by the splendid hills of Maremma.
Luca and his family offer, with simplicity and generosity, a welcome which is attentive to the needs of their guests. The agricultural business covers about 22 hectares within the circuit of “Strade del Vino Colli di Maremma”.
There is an olive grove with 500 plants, from which we obtain an excellent extra-virgin olive oil (Protected Geographical Indication), a cultivated vineyard of about 1000 sq.m with normal grapes and about 5000 sq.m with Sangiovese grapes, from which we produce an excellent Morellino di Scansano (Controlled Denomination of Origin), a garden where we gather seasonal vegetables and a further three hectares of land which is covered by Mediterranean scrub, comprising principally of oak trees, holm-oak and cork-oak.

In the large, well set-up garden, of around two thousand square metres, next to the swimming pool of six by twelve metres, with a Roman staircase, you will certainly be able to experience the serenity, the silence and the sweet harmony of nature.
The agritourism is has 5 double bedrooms with a private bathroom, of which two are access bathrooms, with air-conditioning, heating, TV, radio, hairdryer, safe and bar fridge.
Guests can use the swimming pool, bikes and the common rooms, free of charge.

Our attention to food and wine allows us to offer dinners and lunches (upon request) based on traditional dishes from Maremma, following the old recipes and using the produce from our agricultural business, such as extra-virgin olive oil (Protected Geographical Indication) and Morellino di Scansano (Controlled Denomination of Origin) and from our garden. In various periods of the year we offer dishes with our fresh produce (for example: mushrooms, game, such as wild boar and deer, cheese, fresh and aged meats from pig, fresh oil, vino novello, vegetables and beans) at 25 € per person. For those who wish to, we offer the possibility of tasting the delicious fish from the lagoon of Orbetello and Monte Argentario, accompanied with prestigious white wines from the zone (Ansonica and Parrina) at 30 € per person.
For those who wish to, upon booking we can organise tastings and tours within our business and in other businesses in the area such as oil mills, dairy farms, historical cellar, animal farms.

These prices are inclusive of: breakfast (local production or homemade sweet and savoury produce); use of TV and radio; heating TV e radio; heating or use of air-conditioning; access to the garden.
From 1.01.2007 until 15.06.2007 and from 15.09.2007 until 31.12.2007 there will be a discount of 15% (10 €) for whoever stays for two or more nights.
